Federal Funds American Rescue Act

The American Rescue Plan Funds provide a substantial infusion of resources to help turn the tide on the pandemic, address its economic fallout, and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery. 

The Pueblo County Commissioners are interested in hearing ideas from citizens, businesses, and non-profit agencies on how they would like to see these funds invested in our community.

  • Ensure continuity of vital government services
  • Revenue loss is calculated 
  • Recipients may re-calculate revenue loss
  • Includes improvements to infrastructure
  • Eligible uses aligned to Environmental Protection Agency project categories
  • Deliver assistance to workers and families 
  • Support small businesses 
  • Speed the recovery of impacted industries 
  • Rebuild public sector capacity 
  • Provide premium pay to essential workers
  • Prioritize low- and moderate-income workers
  • Key sectors include healthcare, grocery and food services, education, childcare, sanitation, transit
