The Food Safety Program at the Pueblo City-County Health Department works with local retail food establishments to promote and protect consumer health.  The Food Program’s main goals include:

• Working to reduce the risk factors that cause foodborne illnesses
• Ensuring food sold and served to the public is safe
• Promoting compliance with State food safety laws and regulations through education and enforcement
