E-911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board

The Board of County Commissioners of Pueblo County, Colorado, by Resolution No. 03-322, dated December 9, 2003, established the E-911 Emergency Telephone Service program and surcharge and entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Rye and the Town of Boone to create a separate legal entity known as the E-911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board to administer the operation of the E-911 Emergency Telephone Service Program.  Section III of the Intergovernmental Agreement has been amended to re-establish the membership of the E-911 board through resolution No. 13-53 dated March 18, 2013.  All members are required to have special knowledge and training in the field of emergency management and of the equipment needed to provide emergency services mandated by Colorado Statute. Composition: 7 members Term: Staggered Terms Appointed by: The Board of County Commissioners appoints 5 members; the Town of Rye appoints 1 member; and the Town of Boone appoints 1 member Created by: Pueblo County Resolution No. 03-322, dated December 9, 2003; Resolution No. 04-54 dated March 2, 2004; Resolution No. 05-044 dated February 1, 2005; Resolution No. 06-67 Contact Person(s): Jeff Teschner, 583-6251 Cynthia Mitchell, Assistant County Attorney, 583-6630 Mark Mears,583-6201
