Resolution No. 01-191,dated July 10, 2001 created a joint trauma medical emergency region and an Area Trauma Advisory Council and approved and entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement between Custer, Fremont, Huerfano and Las Animas counties to establish a multi-county Regional Emergency Medical and Trauma Advisory Council. The Board of County Commissioners for each participating county, shall approve under separate resolution or ordinance, each member to serve as an official voting member for the Southern Colorado RETAC.
Composition: 3 Members each having an Alternate 
Term: Initial term is staggered 1 – 3 years, thereafter, 2 year terms

Created By:  Intergovernmental Agreement dated July 10, 2001 between Pueblo County, Fremont County, Custer County, Huerfano County & Las Animas County (Reso. Nos. 97-240, 01-191, 02-191) (See C.R.S. Section 25-3.5-605, et. Seq.)
