Food Safety Program
The Food Safety Program at the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment works with local retail food establishments to promote and protect consumer health. The Food Program’s main goals include:
- Working to reduce the risk factors that cause foodborne illnesses
- Ensuring food sold and served to the public is safe
- Promoting compliance with State food safety laws and regulations through education and enforcement
