There are numerous resources available to industry professionals to enrich operations.  The Food Safety Program at Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment offers a training course entitled, ‘Food Safety & You’.  The course is a two-hour session that educates students in foodborne illnesses, its prevention, proper food handling, proper management and hands-on exercises.  The course is taught by Food Program Inspectors and is available to the public in sessions twice per year (see schedule below) and is also available on demand and personalized for establishments that request on-site demonstrations.
