The Elections Department prepares, administers, conducts and tallies in a correct, uniform and impartial manner, Federal, State, County and local non partisan elections. The department also provides election services and assistance to cities, towns, school districts and special districts of Pueblo County. The Department is the registry and disseminating center for voting information and voter registration.

Last day to transmit ballots and ballot materials

to overseas military voters.

(No later than 45 days before the election)

Last day to mail notice of a ballot issue election

(TABOR) (At least 30 days before a ballot

First day that mail ballots may

be mailed to voters.

voter registration system, the mail, a voter 

registration agency, or a local driver’s

Last day to file an absentee ballot application

to receive the absentee ballot by mail.

(No later than the close of business on

the 7th day before the election)

Last day to request an in-person absentee

First day counties with more than 25,000
