Colorado Energy Office Weatherization Program

Pueblo County's Weatherization Department works with the Governor’s Energy Office Weatherization (GEOWx) Program to improve the energy efficiency of all residential structures throughout Colorado. Energy costs weigh heavily on low-income households. The GEOWx program provides energy upgrades to income-qualified homes to help keep energy costs low.

Pueblo County's Weatherization Program is proud to partner with the GEOWx Program to deliver a range of energy efficient improvements to income-qualified homes.  The GEOWx Program serves nearly 20,000 households statewide per year.

Funding for this program is provided by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Xcel Energy, Black Hills Energy,  and the State of Colorado.
