PEDCO is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the Pueblo area to businesses and industries considering a new location or expansion.

Pueblo County Community Development Corporation (PCCDC)

PCCDC provides low-interest loans to local businesses in exchange for a commitment to hire low and moderate income employees. The program is oriented to supply “gap” financing which provides an additional funding mechanism to businesses that do not fully qualify for conventional financing.

Pueblo County Economic Gardening is an economic development arm of Pueblo County’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department. Staff provide advanced, corporate level tools for any Pueblo County businesses. Market research, competitor intelligence, industry trends, marketing lists, strategy development, web optimization and customized research is all provided free of charge.

The Small Business Development Center provides business development and support through free one-on-one counseling for both existing and start-up businesses, a variety of seminars and workshops designed to help small business owners improve their business knowledge and entrepreneurs plan their start-up business, and The Leading Edge Program, Colorado’s premier certified course for entrepreneurial training and business plan development.

SCEDD is a not-for-profit organization that serves the 13 counties of southeastern Colorado. In addition to providing community support, SCEDD houses the “Business Lending Center” which helps businesses build and expand by packaging SBA 504 loans in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
