The Elections Department prepares, administers, conducts and tallies in a correct, uniform and impartial manner, Federal, State,County and local non partisan elections. The department also provides election services and assistance to cities, towns, school districts and special districts of Pueblo County. The Department is the registry and disseminating center for candidate campaign financing, voting information and voter registration.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 1-7.5-105 (1.5) (b), COLORADO REVISED STATUTES AND COLORADO SECRETARY OF STATE ELECTION RULE 12.3.4 ; NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE PUEBLO COUNTY CLERK AND RECORDER IS SEEKING PUBLIC COMMENT WHETHER PUEBLO COUNTY SHALL HOLD A PRIMARY MAIL BALLOT ELECTION FOR ALL ELECTORS WITHIN PUEBLO COUNTY ON TUESDAY, JUNE 26, 2012. PUBLIC COMMENT SHALL BE IN THE FORM OF WRITTEN COMMENT AND MAILED OR HAND DELIVERED IN CARE OF GILBERT ORTIZ 215 W 10TH ST, PUEBLO, CO. 81003 OR BY EMAIL AT ortiz@co.pueblo.co.us BETWEEN MONDAY, JANUARY 23, 2012 AND THROUGH WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2012.
