The purpose of the Employment and Training (E&T) program is to provide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participants opportunities to gain skills, training, work, or experience that will increase their ability to obtain regular employment and meet state or local workforce needs.
A third party partner, Pueblo Works, operates the SNAP Employment and Training Program (also known as Employment First). Pueblo Works can be reached at 719-299-4102, or commwrks.org and are located at 525 N. Santa Fe, Pueblo, CO 81003
Who is Eligible?
- Current SNAP (Food Assistance) recipients qualify for Employment First services

How Do I Apply?
- You must apply for SNAP (Food Assistance) to be referred to Employment First.
- If you are not eligible for SNAP but believe you would benefit from employment services, Pueblo Works or the Workforce Center may be an option.
