Nominate a senior citizen for Pueblo’s Senior of the Year
PUEBLO – Time is running out to nominate Pueblo’s next Senior of the Year. The Pueblo Area Agency on Aging and the Pueblo Advisory Council on Aging will honor an outstanding Pueblo County Senior Citizen who has made significant contributions to the Pueblo community through volunteer services. Nominations are due Friday, April 7.
Applications are available by clicking here. Nomination forms can also be picked up at the Historic Pueblo County Courthouse, located at 215 W. 10th Street in Pueblo.
Pueblo’s Senior of the Year will be honored at the annual Saluting Pueblo Seniors luncheon at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Pueblo Union Depot. The cost of the event is $16 per person. RSVP's an payment must be recieved by Friday, April 28. The event will also celebrate Pueblo’s centenarians. All nominees will be presented with a certificate of recognition and a flower at their table during the event.
