Pueblo County Fair announces 2017 line-up
PUEBLO - Goat Yoga, a kid-organized blood drive for adults, Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office K-9 demonstration, national firefighter Olympiad, high-energy country concert from Mike Love, civic leader barbecue and railroading displays will be new to the 2017 Pueblo County Fair line-up.
The Pueblo County Fair Board invites the media to interview representatives from the Pueblo County Fair and its new exhibitors at a Pueblo County Fair kick-off press conference at the Colorado State Fairgrounds Livestock Pavilion on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 1 p.m.
The Pueblo County Fair rolled out its first logo and unified branding campaign in 2016. Thanks to generous local sponsors, the Pueblo County Fair is able to build on last year’s successes and continue to grow the Pueblo County Fair brand as a place for free, family-friendly fun every day.
With the exception of a few ticketed-fundraising events, admission and activities at the Pueblo County Fair are free, most events are educational and there are no two-days alike.
“What’s here one day is gone the next, there’s literally something new to learn every single day. I’m confident our 2017 Pueblo County Fair will be our best fair yet!” said Pueblo County Fair Board President Tom Coffield.
The 2017 Pueblo County Fair begins on Friday, July 14 and runs through Sunday, July 23. The Pueblo County Fair has been in existence for more than 100 years. Its primary role is a showcase competition for Pueblo County’s 4-H and FFA members. Recently, the Pueblo County Fair Board has expanded the with the goal of attracting more of the general public to experience how the agricultural industry enhances the Pueblo community.
