CARA  Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics promotes the development of athletics and encourages the standardization of rules and classifications in games and competition. CARA holds local, regional, and state competitions in youth and adult athletics throughout the state.

The City of Pueblo and Pueblo County are partnering to offer CARA Track & Field.  Recreation agencies from around Southern Colorado offer this program so young athletes, ages 5-16 years old, can participate in a healthy summer activity.  Participants are placed in heats by gender and age.  All participants receive ribbons each heat.  Participants can try different events each week if they desire.
