Some items can enter the reuse market like motor oil, antifreeze, paint, mercury, cooking oil. Call Safety Kleen Corporation located at 2841 E. 4th Street, Pueblo, CO 81001, (719) 544-1338 to handle large quantities from business, institutions, and others for a fee.

Hazardous Materials Disposal-Households

The next collection event in Pueblo is tentatively scheduled for Spring 2019. Many hazardous, toxic or poisonous materials can be safely disposed at home by adding fresh cat litter ( a clumping agent) and stir to make a liquid become semi-solid. Double bag the item and dispose of in your weekly household trash.
