Your Words Have Power

Pueblo's Health features the first of many members of the Your Words Have Power campaign, Anne Cabello.

The campaign, which focuses on de-stigmatizing substance use disorder and empowers others to recover, highlights stories of Puebloans on their recovery journey.

The risk of accidental overdose from Fentanyl is higher than risk of overdose from other highly toxic substances (e.g. Heroin or morphine).

Although Fentanyl is often prescribed by a physician, it can also be produced and sold illegally. Illicit Fentanyl is often mixed with other drugs.

Let's Talk About Sex

Pueblo's Health, a podcast from PDPHE, will feature a four-week series of conversations with coalition members focused on reducing the spread of STIs in Pueblo by changing the stigma surrounding conversations about sexual health.

The series begins with a conversation featuring Rich Lane, practice manager at Champions Family Medicine, and will debut a new episode every Monday in January!
