Self Defense Classes and Seminars:
Self Defense classes teach various methods of escaping a violent encounter and getting to safety quickly. Learn to respond effectively to offensive, inappropriate, or dangerous behavior and to defend yourself when faced with physical violence. Participants practice efficient biologically-sound self protection movements designed around scientifically proven concepts of self protection.
There are no uniform requirements, skill or physical restrictions. Anyone can learn how to defend themselves, all course material is adapted for the individual.
Open to ages 14 and up.
Youth Martial Arts:
This program will introduce basic self-defense techniques in a safe and controlled environment, building your child's confidence and sense of security.
Participants will develop essential skills like coordination, balance, and physical fitness through dynamic warm-ups, drills, and practice exercises. Your child will train alongside supportive peers and instructors, fostering teamwork and lasting friendships.
This program fosters respect, focus, and a sense of accomplishment, empowering your child to reach their full potential.

Tai Chi Classes:
Tai Chi Quan is an internal martial art with a long lineage. Some call it moving meditation. It is an internal martial art that is now known for helping to improve coordination, strength and balance. It has been shown to help with mood and some movement disorders.
Forms taught are from the Yang style of Tai Chi, and selected other chi gung exercises. Chi Gung= Energy work normally managed by breath control and concentration drills.
We would request that you make sure your medical provider feels that your health can support participation. If you can walk, or stand you can do some form of Tai Chi.
Open to ages 12 and up.
