What is WIC
 
  • WIC is The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.
     
  • WIC provides free, healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to community resources. It’s free for moms, dads, grandparents, foster parents, and all Colorado families who qualify. Whether you're pregnant, already a mom, or raising a child younger than 5, you can get the right personalized support for you and your family.

Who Qualifies



To qualify for WIC, participants must live in Colorado and be

  • Currently pregnant
  • Breastfeeding up to 1 year postpartum
  • New mom who had a baby or was pregnant in the past 6 months
  • Caregivers of infants & kids up to 5 years of age
    • Including: fathers, grandparents and foster families.
  • Must live in Colorado
  • Participants of Medicaid, SNAP or TANF automatically qualify.
    • Or your income meets the guidelines listed below.
