Emergency Repair  Programs - Crisis Intervention (CIP) and Emergency Repairs and Essential Services (ERESP)

If you are without heat, two Emergency Repair programs are available to qualified homeowners.  CIP may be available to LEAP eligible households.  ERESP may be available to homeowners who are 60 years old or older.

 

Crisis Intervention Program (CIP)

CIP assists LEAP eligible households with the emergency repair or replacement of the home's primary heating system such as a furnace or boiler.

Who is Eligible?

You may be eligible if :

  • Your primary heating source is not working and
  • Homeowner qualifies and is approved for LEAP.   View LEAP qualifications

Emergency Repairs and Essential Services Program (ERESP)

Homeowners aged 60 years or older who are experiencing an emergency maintenance issue at their home may be eligible for assistance through the ERESP Program.

Who is Eligible?

Homeowner must be experiencing an emergency

  • The homeowner must be age 60 years or older
  • Customer must own or be buying their home
  • The unit must be the primary place of residence
  • Income eligibility is based on the guidelines below
