 Long-Term Care Ombudsman

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is managed by the Senior Resource Development Agency (SRDA). The  Ombudsman advocates on behalf of residents in a facility. Residents and family members may contact the ombudsman with concerns.

ADRC – Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado – (719) 583-6611 or 211

ADRC provides a comprehensive list of resources in Colorado.  ADRC provides Options Counseling and Information and Assistance health and long term supports. The ADRC program is available to people who are 60 and older and age 18-59 with disabilities.

  • Transportation to people who are 60 or older throughout Pueblo County.

    • legal and social services

  • Vans are wheelchair accessible and reservations are required.
  • Transportation is available Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Health Promotion Services

  • Matter of Balance – (719) 545-8900
    • Matter of Balance is a program developed for older adults who have a fear of falling. These classes are designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels.

Life Line – Medical Alarm Service – (719) 553-3443

Life Line is a personal help button in the case of a fall or other emergency. With the push of button, a trained Life Line Response Associate will answer your call and access your profile and assess the situation. Based on your specific needs, the professional will contact a neighbor, a family member, or emergency services and follow up that help has been received.
