The Colorado Advanced Industry Investment Tax Credit helps Colorado advanced industry companies receive more capital from Colorado investors. Colorado's seven advanced industries are Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace, Bioscience, Electronics, Energy/Natural Resources/Cleantech, Infrastructure Engineering, and Technology & Information More information.

A business or any portion of a business that is involved in the maintenance and repair, completion or modification of aircraft located within the boundaries of an airport designated as an Aviation Development Zone may qualify for a state income tax credit of $1,200 per new full-time employee. More Information.

The Enterprise Zone is a program that allows businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to take advantage of tax credits for assisting in the redevelopment and economic improvement of certain zones within Pueblo County. More information.

The performance-based Location Neutral Employment (LONE) Program provides a standard Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit for urban/rural job creation with an additional Strategic Fund cash incentive for each remote rural job created in an eligible rural county. The LONE incentive provides a state income tax credit and a per job cash grant to businesses undertaking job creation projects that would not occur in Colorado without this program. Pueblo’s job training program includes pre-employment training of primary and/or training of primary job workers upon first being hired. A company must agree to give graduates of the job training program hiring priority and to pay a minimum wage for each primary job of at least $10.00 per hour or the minimum hourly wage under Colorado First/Existing Industry Customized Training Programs, whichever is greater, plus fringe benefits. 

Colorado C-PACE is a financing tool, available to Pueblo County businesses, which allows commercial and multifamily property owners to finance qualifying energy efficiency, water conservation, and other clean energy improvements on existing and newly constructed properties, with repayment of the financing through a voluntary assessment on their property tax bill. More information
