Individuals are urged to protect themselves from mosquitoes this summer. The recent rainfall and high temperatures resulted in an increased number of mosquitoes that may carry West Nile virus.

West Nile Virus occurs in Pueblo County every year, and the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment advises all individuals to protect themselves and their families from West Nile virus by following the Four D’s.
