PUEBLO COUNTY COMMISSIONER. DISTRICT 1
Miles Lucero is a proud Pueblo native with deep roots in the community. A valedictorian from County High School, Miles earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Arizona. He has seven years of experience in the freight railroad industry, starting at Pueblo’s Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (now MxV Rail).
Miles is also the Head Coach of the Pueblo County High School Boys Varsity Tennis Team. He is married to a physician who owns a medical practice in Pueblo, and they are raising their family in the community he loves.
Appointed by the Colorado Speaker of the House to the Commission on Judicial Performance for the 10th Judicial District, Miles is dedicated to public service. His priorities include responsible stewardship of Pueblo’s financial resources, improving public health and safety, supporting economic development and union jobs, providing quality public education, ensuring access to healthcare, and protecting Pueblo’s natural resources.
As County Commissioner, Miles is committed to making Pueblo a safer, healthier, and more beautiful place to live for current and future generations.
