Chairman: Pueblo Board of County Commissioners

Epimenio “Eppie” Griego was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado.  He attended the Law Enforcement Training Academy and Pueblo Community College.  Eppie has been married to his wife Rayann for 45 years and has 4 children and 5 grandchildren that he is very proud of. 

Eppie has spent most of his adult life working as a groundman/operator with IBEW Local 12, while also working for the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office as an investigator.  He served on the Community Corrections Board and Pueblo County Planning and Zoning Commission.

On January 12th, 2021, he was sworn into his first four-term as Pueblo County Commissioner for District 1.  Eppie became Chair of the Board of County Commissioners in June 2023.  As County Commissioner, Eppie wants to focus his energies on public safety, creating sustainable jobs, protecting water and land rights, and being available to the public.
