Pueblo - Established in 1963, Older Americans Month (OAM) is celebrated every May. Led by federal agency, the Administration for Community Living (ACL), OAM is a time to recognize older Americans' contributions, highlight aging trends, and reaffirm commitments to serving the older adults in our communities.

This year’s theme, "Powered by Connection," focuses on the profound impact that meaningful connections have on the well-being and health of older adults.  To honor our local seniors, Pueblo Advisory Council on Aging, invites the community to attend its annual "Saluting Pueblo Seniors" recognition lunch on May 10, at 11:00am.  The advisory board will be honoring the Senior Citizen of the Year, as well as recognizing Pueblo County's Centenarians and Pre-Centenarians.

The luncheon will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall, 1145 Aspen Road.  The cost is $20 per person.  Contact Jenny Jacobs at 719-320-1817 or [email protected] to purchase a ticket.
