For internship requests please complete all information below. Failure to complete all information may result in internship requests being denied. 

Please be Advised

  • the health department's hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • the health department requires the flu vaccination 

  • the health department requires a minimum of 6 weeks from submission of application to desired internship start date. If your internship request provides less than a 6-week turnaround timeframe, it may be difficult to accommodate your internship request.

Individuals interested in shadowing must be associated with a school and all interns must be 18 years or older.

Shadowing is available to interns regardless of area of study. Exaple: data anaylist intern shadowing clinic nurse.
