Pueblo County is seeking volunteer applicants to serve on the newly created Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) to support Pueblo County’s Unified Development Code Process.  The TAC will be responsible for reviewing and providing input on interim draft documents, including an assessment of existing land use and subdivision codes and individual modules of the new Unified Development Code.

Input from the TAC will be shared with the Pueblo County Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners throughout the process for their consideration. The TAC role will be advisory in nature and the committee will not have veto power over proposed UDC regulations.

The TAC will serve through the end of the project which we anticipate to be Fall of 2024. The TAC will meet six to eight times over the course of the project. Meetings will generally correspond to major project milestones.

The committee will be comprised of 10-12 members, consisting of developers, private land use consultants, neighborhood organization representatives, business owners, housing advocates, residents, and other stakeholders. Experience using Pueblo County’s land use and subdivision regulations and/or a general familiarity with land use and development practices is preferred, but not required. All members should either be residents, business owners or professionals with experience working in Pueblo County.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, June 16.  Go to county.pueblo.org/boards-commissions to apply.
