Student Activities and Bus Rides in Pueblo County

From March 2022 to March 2023, Pueblo Transit offered 40,911 free rides to K-12 students in the city. In the first quarter of 2023, 11,068 rides were given. Since making youth transit rides free in 2021, transit has seen a 31% increase in youth ridership.

In a 2022 focus group of 13-18 year olds, youth reported visiting parks the most in Pueblo County. Visiting parks was mentioned 15 times compared to going to the mall which was mentioned only 4 times.The data below shows places in Pueblo that students visit frequently and how many rides were given by Pueblo Transit to K-12 Students per quarter in Pueblo County.
